This is a step-by-step manual on how to configure the Firebase project.
- 1. Navigate to https://firebase.google.com/.
- 2. To proceed, click “Get started” or sign in.
- 3. Select “Create project” and enter a project name, as well as confirm the terms and conditions. [Note: This project name would also be used for Flutterflow.] [Take note of your capitalization.]
- 4. Next, disable “Google Analytics for your project” and click “Create Project” to begin.
- 5. The Firebase Dashboard appears. Click “Build,” then click “Firebase Database,” then “Create Database,” then “Start in Test Mode,” and finally “Enable.”
- 6. Return to the Dashboard, select “Build,” next click on “Authentication,” then “Get Started,” select the “Email/Password” [under Signin Method], and “Enable.”
- 7. On the Dashboard, go to “Project Overview” and click on settings, then “User and Permissions” and click on “Add member” and type in “firebase@flutterflow.io” and assign “Roles” by selecting “Editor,” and finally click on “Add member.”
